One form, one desk, two working days for routine matters.

Every message reaches Heba Ramadan at the Mansoura office. Heba handles subscription and routine correspondence directly; dive-specific scholarly questions are routed to the appropriate editor; alongside-dive coordination questions go to Tarek Ramadan personally; observation reports from divers visiting the controlled sites go to Iman Hosny for the institutional referral. Office hours Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 Cairo time.

Send a message.

Mark the topic accurately — it determines who reads the message and how quickly the reply comes. Routine subscription queries are usually resolved in one round; consultation bookings involve a written quote followed by a separate booking; alongside-dive enquiries involve the institutional team's coordinator and typically take a week before a substantive answer.

By post — the printed annual digest.

Institutional subscribers may add the printed annual digest at €28 plus postage. Three hundred pages consolidating the year's twelve monthly bulletins, the December season summary, the conservation-protocol revisions, the corrections log and the methodology document. Postage €5 within Egypt, €11 to Europe and North Africa, €18 elsewhere.

Response-time commitments by topic.

Routine subscription queries are usually resolved within one working day. Site-specific scholarly questions take two to three working days because they involve the appropriate editor's review. Observation reports take five working days because the desk verifies the observation against the institutional record and prepares the institutional referral. Consultation bookings involve a written quote within five working days followed by separate scheduling. Press enquiries are prioritised when a deadline is named in the message; Tarek typically replies within two working days for press matters. Alongside-dive enquiries are the slowest category — the institutional dive coordinator's consent must be sought, and the institutional teams may take a week or more to respond.

If you reached us by mistake.

If you were looking for a commercial dive operator, a Mediterranean cruise booking, a maritime-archaeology training course or an antiquities dealer, you are at the wrong door. We are an independent documentary journal. We do not run dives, do not sell tours, do not offer diving courses and do not trade in antiquities. The licensed dive operators registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities are easy to find through the ministry's published list; we will not pass an enquiry to them on your behalf.
